Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality chemistry classes to students preparing for the NTSE at the Foundation level.
• Create engaging and interactive lesson plans, and develop appropriate teaching materials.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to students, and assist them in developing study strategies and techniques.
• Collaborate with other faculty members and administration to develop and implement curriculum.
• Participate in faculty meetings and professional development activities.
• Ensure a safe and respectful learning environment for all students.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• At least 2-3 years of teaching experience in Chemistry, preferably at the Foundation level.
• Strong knowledge of chemistry concepts and principles, and ability to communicate them effectively to students.
• Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans and materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Passion for teaching and working with students.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE).
• Experience with online teaching platforms and tools.
• Ability to teach other science subjects (such as chemistry and Biology) at the Foundation level.

Working Conditions:

• This is a full-time position, with some flexibility in scheduling.
• Classes may be conducted online or in person, depending on the current circumstances.
• Occasional weekend or evening work may be required.
• The faculty member will be expected to work closely with other faculty members and administration to deliver high-quality education to students.
